Gillian Wormald

Gillian joined Stokesley Vets after graduating from Liverpool University in 2006. She became Clinical Director in April 2019 and has enjoyed the new role supported by the whole team. Gillian is a mentor for the recent graduates in practice and, along with Hannah, is a Clinical Coach for the student nurses throughout their training.

Most of all she enjoys seeing the pets and clients with whom she has built a rapport with over the last decade and looks forward to meeting new ones!

Gillian spent many months lambing on her Uncle’s farm in Northumberland which fuelled her interest in farm animals. She loves the variety of mixed practice, particularly small animal surgery and all aspects of farm work.

Outside of work Gillian enjoys days out with her husband Neil and their two sons. They also have two dogs, Fleur, a French Briard and Hazel, a Hungarian Viszla. Hazel loves to run and waits patiently for Gillian to catch up on walks!
